I have been to this place as well as the Pittsburg location numerous times. In the past, I could never find an available person to help me or answer questions. And I actually almost didn't go back because of those negative experiences. This month, I found staff much more helpful. Kailee was so great! She was patient, kind and just so helpful!! I totally understand that for the great price, the options are limited. But I was able to pick out the vanity countertops I needed and order the vanities I needed. Definitely worth checking out this place if you are on a budget.
Don't listen to the bad reviews. GE was so patient with me, I spent hours with Their designers over a month of planning my new kitchen, and they made it work. Moving our install date was simple (text message) when we had delays in construction.
When it finally came to install day, GE showed up on time, and built a full kitchen and vanity in my bathroom in ONE DAY.
Blown away. My one piece of advice? Come prepared with accurate measurements and plans. If you don't know what you want, or aren't prepared, that is when you'll get frustrated. They're machines, they are problem solvers. They will give you a beautiful and affordable product that looks more expensive thank it is.
Granite Expo is always busy, always. What that translates to is that they are where you want to go for a very good selection of various stones for your remodel or construction project. The prices are definitely competitive, if not better than other places. But go in focused on what you need. While the options and pricing may be attractive, the ambiance and aura are not. No polite attention, more like "What do you want? Here. Bye!" If you want to be coddled a little bit, pay more (a lot more?) for a boutique store (that does not translate to H___ D___). If you are all about business and nothing else, get the job done at Granite Expo.
Emma at Granite Expo is our go to girl! She is very helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products. She always gets back to me in a timely fashion and never makes us wait around too long when we are there and looking around at options. Very good value and the products are well-made. They have a lot of options in stock and can have the cupboards and countertops available in 12 business days! I highly recommend Granite Expo and specifically, Emma!
What a JOY it was to shop at Granite Expo. They offer the best customer service of ANY Bay Area cabinet/counter store. Ron Dang was incredible! He took the time to show me what was available and made sure I was able to leave with exactly what I needed. They have the finest most extensive inventory in stock. Their pricing is unmatched and they have exceptional unmatched customer service. I would give them 6 stars if it was an option. I will be back and you should too!
It was our first time here as we are remodeling our kitchen. Patricia greeted us and was very helpful in piecing together our kitchen layout and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. She was very attentive and answered all our questions and doubts. The kitchens that are set up in the showroom allow you to see what the different cabinet styles look like and ultimately what your own kitchen can look like. I wish I visited Granite Expo in San Jose first! I thought I knew the key places to go since this is our second home that we are remodeling. This was my first visit to this store and I was pleasantly surprised by their vast selection and quality products. We found our bathroom countertop and tile flooring here at Granite Expo. They also have fixtures, shower doors, backsplash, pre-fab countertops, and cabinetry. I wished I visited them first because I found the bathroom vanity we just purchased in Willow Glen for nearly 50%+ cheaper at Granite Expo! (I honestly am trying not to think about it). In addition the customer service is great, they are super helpful and patient.
Joshua is the man! Diligence and professionalism at it's finest. He is knowledgeable went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. He got me a great deal and when I didn't love the finish on one of my bathroom cabinets he ordered me another. He was so helpful and gave me great ideas to designing the kitchen of my dreams. I'm extremely happy and will be recommending this business and continue to shop here in the future.
